BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} X8380 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}6/M11.11.27. Copy to - HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EAC. 14. We send herewith N. sch. 2504. shewing the forward cross member and support for the sports Phantom body. We would be glad if you would send a set of these pieces to the three coachbuilders concerned as soon as possible. The tube is by Messrs Accles & Pollock - No.517., and is 18 gauge. It will be noticed that we have slightly modified the length of the dash bracket, and extended the fixed floorboards on the chassis. Complete sets of bolts should be sent with each set of parts. It will also be noticed that we have used several pieces belonging to our standard subframe forward support with a view to speeding up the manufacture of parts.
