contd:- -2- you N.sch.1248 shewing the lever designed as we think it might be but we shall leave it in your hands to use whichever is most convenient. We may say that we find on comparing the specimen of F.50862 with the cross steering lever shewn on N.sch.999 that the stress in the former is 40% higher than that in the latter.
