200a W/S. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/R.5.1.39. 3.B.IV. In reply to your mote Cxll/KW3.1.39., we are forthwith handing over 3.B.IV. to the Repair Dept. From the point of view of interchangeability, we presume it will be impossible to sell the car with any of the non-standard features. Also, presumably the engine will want an overhaul in view of the fact that it has being driven under extreme conditions on a number of occasions. In Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/R.18.7.38. we suggested leaving the Girling brakes on the car, but on the whole now think that this would cause more trouble than the money it would save.
