December 15th.1937.

Messrs Durion Ltd.,
10 Parsons Green
Fulham,
LONDON S.W.6.

For the attention of Mr.V.H.Baker.

Dear Sirs,

SATTLER METAL.

With reference to our letter reference Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}6/AP. dated 11th November 1937, and to Mr.Baker's telephone call, we are not quite certain what the position now is regarding the four bushes Mr.Baker said he would put in hand, made to the drawing enclosed in our last letter.

Are you proceeding with these bushes or are you waiting for an official order for them.? In the latter event would you please say of which metal you propose to make them as we understood from Mr.Baker that you have various metals, and we agreed to leave the choice of metal to your discretion for this first test.

We have an opportunity to give these bushes a thorough test but it is essential that they should arrive before Christmas, or the opportunity will be lost.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
