To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Handwritten: till DAIMLER when phone comes through fix a date & time & let Symons & hardy know. I will try if I am available. Pin Miss Lauder - 1057 re Mr. S.L.C. Coleman, Melbourne, Nr. Derby. Referring to the attached, he refers to the Daimler car being equipped with an experimental spring suspension, and says :- "This job has independent wheel action at both ends of the chassis, and is sprung on two air springs, one at each end of the chassis. The steel springs and shock absorbers are eliminated. The riding and handling qualities of this design have made a very favourable impression on those engineers who have tried it out".
