X.3552 S. SMITH & SONS. (M.A.) LTD. 179-185 Gt. Portland St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} LONDON W.1. Our ref. ACL/MM. 10th August, 1920. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. Dear Sirs, X.4164. X.3552. for the attention of Mr. Fowler Clark. We are in receipt of your favour of the 6th inst., with reference to providing a socket on the switchboard with a suitable plug to supply an inspection lamp. We are going into this matter, and will endeavour to embody the plug and socket as required on the switchboard. As it is possible charging current may be sent through the plug, we take it that it should be suitable for about 10 amps. Yours faithfully. p.p. S. SMITH & SONS. (M.A.) LTD. Archibald C. Lock.
