We have arranged on Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s instructions for 32-EX to be ready to come into the shop on Thursday morning next, Sept. 9th. Will you please strip for inspection and report, after 15,000 miles test, having particular reference to the features enumerated in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}2/JAB.6.7.37. a copy of which was circulated to you. We will furnish you with mileage figures and notes relating to this test in the near future. list Will you please note particularly whether the propellor shaft driving flange has moved on the taper on the rear axle pinion. These were new parts fitted at Paris depôt, and have run approximately 6,500 miles. Please note that the front jacks and cross member were damaged by hitting the road. The frame is bulged at the rear buffers and the 2nd. cross member appears bent. The top and both sides of the 3rd. cross member have touched the Hardy spacer propellor shaft.
