PEDALS. REMOVAL OF PEDAL STEM ADJUSTMENT. Referring to HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}7/VS.{J. Vickers}2.12.37. I understand from LA.{L. A. Archer} that coachbuilders do sometimes adjust our pedals to suit customers, also he himself is sometimes asked to set the pedals in a particular notch. It may be considered that the necessity of sometimes supplying special pedals would offset any advantage obtained by deleting the adjustment. The machined stem is more convenient for the sealing device against the floorboards than an unmachined forging would be. Our sealing device works even with the pedals depressed, which seems necessary. I think the matter wants weighing up a bit more before we delete the adjustment. NRC{N. R.
