S.U. PETROL TAP.

The tap supplied by S.U. seems to be quite efficient, there is definitely less restriction in this tap than in the standard Bentley tap.

Below are the results of tests taken.

Delivery through standard system. 150 pts/Hr.

but with S.U. tap. 171 pts/Hr.

Delivery through standard system with S.U. tap. Flow taken through reserve only. 157 pts/Hr.

These figures have been checked several times.

It would be interesting to make a tap on similar lines with a slightly larger capacity and with the main line control on a quick thread fitted with a tap lever, instead of the present fine thread a knurled knob.
