PHANTOM ROAD SPRING LUBRICATION. X7410 X7980
In the Repair Dept. list of complaints, those concerning suspension still occupy a prominent position.
We have proved that lubrication of the cantilever is a great asset in overcoming the Phantom's particular springing complaint, much more effective than fitting ultra flexible springs.
We believe that it would help the Repair Dept. considerably if a scheme for the Phantom on the lines of the SS.{S. Smith} spring lubrication could be got out so that the leaf tips could receive oil by means of the Enots gun.
