LID{A. J. Lidsey} ORIGINAL TO HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} FROM EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} BVI/I6.8.32. x45-3 COPY TO JF. WHEELS FOR BENSPORT. BENTLEY "3" We were under the impression that we had given to Derby sufficient information to enable them to order us a sample set of wheels for the BENSPORT. The wheels we have always called for on our schemes are I8in. rims and .5.500ins. section tyres.--the same size as used on Peregrine. The hubs are those of which we were supplied a drawing by Derby. and are the Rudge-Whitworth Type with the knock on nut. We would be glad if "RY" would immediately order up for us a sample wheel and a suitable dummy hub as we are very anxious that the two bodies for this car which have been under construction at Messrs Park Ward & Co. may be completed without delay. We need these parts to enable us to make the recess in the body to house the spare wheel. [Signature] | ||
