X4589 To My/WFH. from EFC. EFC1/T28.1.25. X.4589. B.L.I.C. ELECTROLYTIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR. Answering your My/WFH/CA23/LSB27.1.25 we still have in our possession the electrolytic regulator full of alkali, and the regulator resistance, which are the property of The British Lighting & Ignition Co. Ltd. We also have one R.R. 20 HP. dynamo which was converted by them to suit their regulator, but which is not their property. At one period, when the pressure of other dynamo work was not too great, we were able to get a fair distance with the bench tests of this apparatus, though we are scarcely far enough to arrange for this to be put on an experimental car. Since that period we have had to put the apparatus on one side in view of more urgent work. It is our definite intention to continue with the tests of this apparatus and more likely than not to test same on an experimental car. If in the meantime Messrs. B.L.I.C. would like to suggest any improvement they can make to this apparatus before we make the tests, we should appreciate having this up-to-date. If, on the other hand, they should wish to withdraw the apparatus, we can return same at request. EFC. | ||
