D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /BP/WK3/JR. {Mr James Royce} 6.4.39.

We are in receipt of your memo Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} 10/MH. {M. Huckerby} 30.3.39, and we duly despatched the electrical fitments to Messrs. Marstons in accordance with the instructions contained in your memo, and are charging these to Marstons.

We have applied to them for an Official Order, so that these parts may be correctly invoiced, and have received a communication from Mr. Steadman to the effect that they were under the impression, when arranging with you regarding these fitments, that they were part of the Phantom III Engine, which they had purchased from us, and were therefore covered by the purchase price of the engine. Should this not be the case, they wish to have the cost figures from us for these parts, before they agree to passing us their Order.

Mr. Steadman explains that you were asked to provide these prices before the items were despatched.

Please advise us what procedure we should now take in this matter.

D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /BP
