-2- Body - concerning the body there are innumerable details which will have to be put right. You will undoubtedly discover most of these and Punt knows all about it as I have spoken to him. There is question of the seats which are absolutely impossible both in front and at the back, ventilation, the blind to the rear window which works badly and is not sufficiently stick, the doors which are very difficult to open, the rain which comes in, the ashtray which is too small, the paint which is already coming off. Further, there is a considerable amount of noise from the undershealding and body and, as I presume the Works will be using the car until my return, you will most probably know more about it than I do and will be able to get everything right for me by the end of September, when I shall return. Although it is unfortunate that this accident occurre just before my departure, the car was really not at all satisfactory and I doubt very much whether you would have been able to sit in the overwhelming heat, as the temperature these days in France is anything between 35 and 40 degrees and at leats 55 degrees in the car when running. I trust you will do your best; Very sincerely yours, Sgd. A.{Mr Adams} XXXXXXXXXX Embiricos. | ||
