To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} X500a RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/RH{R. Hollingworth}1/ETL/22.4.36. 22-G-V.{VIENNA} Propeller Shaft. We were instructed on your memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/KW.20.4.36. to fit Propeller Shaft Damper. On removing Propeller Shaft the sliding joint had seized and joints at both ends had failed. Possibly this failure may have mislead someone to resort to Propeller Shaft Damper. However, we have fitted new Propeller Shaft together with Damper as requested, should this damper not be required it will not be a big job to remove. RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/RHollingworth | ||
