TO DY.{F R Danby} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL! DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M4.9.26. [Handwritten:] M/9/26 INDIA CUTOUT SPRING. [Handwritten:] X5490 In reply to HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJLL/LG1926., we were led to the conclusion that the spring was rather heavier than shewn on N. scheme 2032. by the force required to operate it on the pedal. We see however that there is a considerable amount of friction in the system which may account for the spring being apparently stronger than was intended. Would you please try some weaker springs: we suggest 20 lbs., and 15 lbs. instead of the specified 30 lbs. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
