With reference to the crankshaft of the above chassis, which we had re-nitrided by Messrs Aubert & Duval of Paris, as per your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swd3/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}30.II.36, we attach translation of a letter (reference Sr/VA4/MLG.23.I2.36) which we sent to Messrs Aubert & Duval. We also attach translation of their reply dated the 24th instant, reference /SB{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}, which you will find self-explanatory.
