Wraith III Crankshaft. We send you herewith:- LeC.5557 showing some small modifications to the crankshaft. These have been made by Mr Naylor, and we have agreed to them, as they reduce the manufacturing cost. The points are as follows:- (1) A common radius .093 for ground diameters to save changing the grinding wheels. (2) The 1.250" bore at the nose of the shaft is deleted, to save a boring operation. (3) The width of the slabs has been slightly reduced to increase the side clearance of the grinding wheel when producing the crankpins and journals. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} LeC.5557 herewith. | ||
