We have received from Messrs Vickers Limited, three pieces of their super VNCA Crankshaft Steel each 7"long by 4 1/2" diameter together with one test piece 2" long by 7" diameter.

This material was obtained for the purpose of enabling model crankshafts to be produced in this material

Will G/Mt. therefore kindly arrange for the three bars together with the test piece to be handed over to the Experimental Dept.

We wish to point out that this material has not been heat treated so will require treatment either now or during rough machining.

On account of the bulk we should say that after rough machining would be advisable.
