To EF. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} CMB. c. to. PN.{Mr Northey} WGV.✓ X8005 X4117 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rnl/LG:31.10.28. As a result of the tests we carried out on 24-CL we recommend the rubber engine mounting should be fitted to this car. We believe that this will entirely eliminate the 40 m.p.h. to 50 m.p.h. roughness complained of, but we are rather doubtful whether it will materially improve the low speed pick-up roughness.
