With reference to your 'phone message regarding Petrol which I have received from Mr. Allen of the Repair Department. I understand there are two cars in the Southampton district which you are anxious to get in for check up of cylinder ball wear, and the difficulty is lack of petrol. As requested I am sending you herewith two batches of coupons of eight gallons each. I would be grateful if you would see that the registration number of each car is filled in in ink on these coupons, and also please let me have the registration number of these cars, so that they can go in our records for the Petroleum Office at this end.
