V3462 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copies to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 40/50 H.P. Change Speed Lever. At the Sales Conference, the desirability of having a change speed lever which did not catch in the coat sleeve was discussed. PN{Mr Northey}'s report (attached) was read. We shall be glad to hear whether W. see any objection to the shorter type of lever being used in future, as the sales officials are of opinion that it would be an advantage from a selling point of view.
