Contd. -2- the condenser has to travel a considerable distance along the tin foil, such a construction would not lead to the same diminution of the effective capacity of the condenser as would be obtained in the type of condenser usually used in a trembler coil. The terminal connections are made with pieces of thin strip copper to which are soldered the ends of the insulated flexible wires leading outside the casing. The exact method of connecting these strips cannot be seen without spoiling the condenser. The capacity is .30 m.f. and there is a slight leakage conductance of a few micro-mhos. Our standard capacity for the battery ignition is .21 m.f., limits .19 to .23, and there is no detectible leakage conductance. EFC. | ||
