Allan V.{VIENNA} Nutt, Esq.,
St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} James's Chambers,
Derby.

Dear Sir,

MISS ENGLAND II.

(1) We thank you for your letter of the 18th instant, enclosing copy of letter from Mr. Handley, which is noted.

(2) We enclose you herewith three copies of the statement referred to by Mr. Handley, signed by Messrs. Alcocke, Green, Oros and Ellor. One of these copies is for your file, one for Mr. Handley and it is thought we should supply one to Mr. Cooper.

(3) You will no doubt now prepare proofs of evidence, but before these leave Derby we should like to see these proofs, and approve them.

Yours faithfully,
