Bearings are of high speed ball type and seals
are by means of labyrinths, nine altogether, each having
three rings.

We were told that with a gear of 1 1/3/1 on a
1087 cc engine a boost of 40-45 lb/sq.in. was obtained
at 4000 R.P.M. It also showed 5 lb/sq.in. at 300 R.P.M.
The maximum drive speed to date was 9000 R.P.M. (18000
on side shafts) but they expected to reach 13000 R.P.M.
The calibration of the blower on a car was very permanent,
unlike the Zoller. It was hoped to have it running at
Donnington on Oct.1st.; but it had to go to Ricardo's for
test in the meantime.

Total weight was 32 lbs., but special attention had
not been given to lightness.

They would like us to put a definite case for
fulfilment to them, aero or car; they thought they could
gone within our weight requirements. If we were not interested
they thought of approaching Bristols.
