(4) Spherical bearing equaliser shaft.
(5) Lagged intermediate silencer box to improve "tinniness" of the exhaust. The exhaust system is also being braced to avoid contact with the frame which has occurred on a number of customers' cars.
(6) Tunnel and cover for starting handle through radiator shutters, L.S.C.3537.
(7) Modified radiator shutters to cure closing due to wind pressure, L.S.C.3798.
(8) Dropped front cross member.
(9) Head lamp pillars outside frame, R.R.Sch.114.

It may also be possible to incorporate a number of features from the list tabulated in Z/Ltd.1/Fr.20.2.34, but none of these items will be allowed to hold the car up if they are not ready in time.

HW/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}

We find that item (5) in the essential features will necessitate alteration to the front axle die. The car will therefore have to start without this axle, which will be fitted when available.
