Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,

Dear Sirs,

Our Mr. Hadley has informed us of his visit to you and his interview with Mr. Royce.

We thank you for your invitation to send you for test a 12 volt Black Clear Hooter which we shall have pleasure in sending by post next week.

Regarding the points, under a continuous bench test of 20,000 hoots of two seconds duration each, no depreciation was observed nor has it been necessary to adjust those on the road which have been under our own observation for some months.

As to the the hard vulcanite fibre insulator on the end of the plunger the wear on this is very trifling.

We shall be obliged if you will test the Clear Hooter and let us have your report in due course as we are desirous of making a hooter to meet your tests in every way.

Yours faithfully,

p.p. CLEAR HOOTERS, LIMITED.
