1021- HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/R.18.3.39. We visited Park Wards yesterday. The position of the bodies for 11.B.V. and 12.B.V. are as follows - 12-B-V.{VIENNA} This is the light saloon body which was originally intended for 10-B-V, but at Sales' request we fitted a Coupe to 10-B-V.{VIENNA} The light saloon body has, therefore, been completed up to the mounting stage for about a fortnight. 11-B-V.{VIENNA} This body is not so advanced as 12-B-V, but will be ready for mounting next week. In view of these facts, we should be glad if you could urge these two chassis as far as possible. With regard to the three chassis at present at Park Wards - 3-B-50 should be in Derby on Friday, the 24th 30-G-VII " " " " " Saturday, " 25th 10-B-V " " " " " next week. Park Wards seem to have been in considerable trouble with the bonnets, and have had to more or less re-make them. Now that the bonnet is fitted on the body, it seems certain that the best way of dealing with it is to let Park Wards have the necessary fittings and drawings and let them make it.
