We beg to acknowledge receipt of yours of the 10th inst., together with sketch giving position of bracket etc., in relation to chassis. We enclose herewith our suggested arrangement which we hope will meet with your satisfaction. There is one feature which is possibly worth mentioning and that is, that we have made provision for preventing the filter being removed until the cock is in the 'off' position, and on the stamping for the cock body we should indicate the 'on' and 'off' positions clearly with raised stamped letters. In the case of the 'on' position we should only arrange to mill the two flats of the square as the spanner would only be used on these two flats while tightening the union nut for the petrol pipe. In the event of you favouring us with an order for these we sincerely hope you will give us all the notice possible as we are terribly busy at present. Assuring you of our best attention at all times. Yours faithfully, BENTON & STONE LTD. Managing Director. Enc. | ||
