x1166 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}10/KW. 7th April, 1936. The Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, BIRMINGHAM. For the attention of Mr. Carr. Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of the 4th April with regard to the triple lift jack. At the moment we are undecided whether it would not be better to use a No.29 type Jack of minimum height 6 1/2" with a lift of at least 9". Will you let us know whether you can make a Jack to conform to these two figures. With regard to the triple lift Jack, will you send us a figure for the minimum closed height of a Jack of this type, having also at least 9" lift. Perhaps you could give us some idea of the relative weights of the two kinds of Jack. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
