Engineer} scheme :- F.CD.875 Modification to Steering Column Gastight Joint. [This line is crossed out with a large 'X'] The above scheme shews alternative methods of sealing the steering column where it passes through the dashboard. We prefer the lower scheme best, which shews a rubber grommet to seal the column, providing no real difficulty is experienced in producing the pressing. Please instruct experimentally.
