We send you herewith drawing LeC.1382 in reply to your scheme dealing with the rear universal. Modifications have been made to the front universal joint to accommodate the design for the rear, and also to provide the maximum amount of metal possible on the jaws with an angular movement of ten degrees in any direction. Further, the propeller shaft should not be made of a tube 2¼" diameter x .100 thick swaged down at each end, as indicated on LeC.1382. This shaft should whirl at about 4,000 R.P.M.
