Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.
Nightingale Road,
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 25th inst. under above reference, regarding the Motor Driven Horn, and regret having been unable to send along the sample, as had been hoped.

Although our experiments have been quite satisfactory, as regards volume of sound, and moderate current consumption, we have been aiming at getting a certain note with this horn, before submitting to you, and immediately we attain our object in this direction, you may rest assured that a sample will be at once sent along to you for test and approval.

Meantime, kindly accept our apologies for the unfortunate delay, but we feel sure that you will appreciate we are endeavouring to let you have a perfect article, rather than hurry the matter for the sake of a few days.

Trusting this explains the matter to your satisfaction.

Yours faithfully,
For ALFRED GRAHAM & Co
