X. 2575 To EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn. from EFC. EFC4/T6.10.20. X.2580 (struck through) RE. FUSES FOR BODY LIGHTS. X.2575. In answer to your EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn4/F5.10.20, we do think it would be the right thing to recommend that an additional fuse, or fuses, be fitted, through which body lighting, etc. circuits would be supplied. Such fuses should be inserted only in the negative leads from the negative junction box bar, these being not necessary in the leads from the positive. A single fuse of capacity say 10 or 15 amperes would probably be all that was necessary. The fuses on the junction box are more of the nature of emergency fuses and have a considerably higher capacity than fuses which should be fitted for supplying circuits in the body. EFC.
