x264a To H.F. Hamilton, Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, FRANCE. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}23/KW.8.6.36. B-56-BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} I was surprised to hear nothing further from you with regard to B-56-BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} I do not consider that the failure which took place on this car is a tribute to your discretion. You were aware that the big ends were likely to fail, and there was no possible reason why this car should have been driven fast. We should like an explanation as to why you were running at 4,000 revs. on an engine which you knew to be in a very poor condition.
