In answer to yours of the 13th. instant, regarding the above springs supplied in October last, to the following specification – Outside diameter 1.110-5 Inside diameter 0.535 + 5 Free length to be between 0.800 & 0.825. Load at a length of 0.575, 450-460.lbs. Max. choc-a-bloc length 0.500. Max. stress not to exceed 100,000.lbs/Sq.inch. These are as stated in your letter of 9th. October, reference EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}/30/KW.
