Joseph Lucas, Ltd., Great King Street, BIRMINGHAM, 19. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter ref., OL/JAP of the 21st April, 1941 and the attached print Drawing No.FX.5191. It has been found necessary to do more design work on our head lamp bearing casting to suit the lamp that you propose we should accept. On PL.657 a blueprint of which we enclose herewith, are our proposed modifications. It will be noticed that but for a longer bolt, the lamp is as Drawing No.FX.5191. We should like you to incorporate on the head lamp, an anti-dazzle bridge, similar to that on our production B.V. head lamp.
