- 4 - Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd. 13th February, 1939 a considerably longer period, and is now in small quantity production as a forerunner to complete production for all our customers for next season. With regard to the flexible pipe line, pipe junctions and fluid tank, these items will remain unchanged when utilised with any of the foregoing suggested alternative schemes. If the new distributor box and rams are acceptable to you these, and all other parts connected with the system, will be assembled and inspected by ourselves at this factory and a special department will be created to look after your requirements, exclusively. We also consider that we shall be able to supply your requirements at the rate of 20 sets per week, commencing the second week in March, for the 20/25 h.p. cars and 5 sets per week commencing the second week in April for the Phantom III, provided we receive your order within approximately one week from today. We are only anxious that whatever type of equipment we supply to you shall be of the very best design and of the highest quality of workmanship and material - also backed by an efficient inspection. If the existing Jackall design or our new design is adopted, there will be no increase in price. We shall look forward to your comments and suggestions at your earliest convenience and needless to say, we are ready to offer our complete co-operation in whatever way it is most helpful to you. We regret very much indeed that our existing Birmingham suppliers have created a position which has made it necessary for us to put all the facts before you.
