Mr. Wilkins (A.I.D.) c. Rg.{Mr Rowledge} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} X4196 BYS/G.31.10.27. R.R. F.11 ENGINES - SPARKING PLUGS. -------------------------------------- The new type terminal specified by the Air Ministry to be used on the above engines demands a longer screwed end on the terminal of the Champion Plug. These plugs are made in Canada, and since they were ordered with the object of getting prompt deliveries to ensure a plug being available which would be satisfactory with the high compression, if we specify the increased length of terminal we shall undoubtedly put the plug back too far to make it useful. In view of this therefore we do not propose to alter the length of the terminal. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By [Stamp: RECEIVED Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} OCT 31 1927] | ||
