Dear Sirs,

Further to your enquiry of the 12th instant, we have pleasure in advising you that against a recent instruction we are preparing new dies for a thrust washer as per the attached sketch.

In view of the size of this washer being very close to your design EXS.1020, we feel that it might be possible for you to consider this and so avoid the charge for dies which would be necessary if we supply to your exact dimensions

We thank you for giving this subject your consideration, and meanwhile wish to confirm that the two sample washers against your Order No. 70975 were despatched yesterday.
