B. 56. BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} - BENTLEY.

We have examined the front of the car and found that the front dropped cross member has cracked in the corner of the lugs where attached to frame.

We are going up to the Paris Depot to take the Engine out, front wings, etc., to ascertain whether there is any further damage. It may mean the Body coming off.

Another toggle was found bent in the O.S. front brake. We are investigating flooding of carburetters. It is not a question of needles leaking; it may be too much pressure from the pump or due to pulsations of the pump. We will let you have further information of this trouble.
