To HIC. from EFC. X5660 EFC3/T19.1.27. 20 HP. DYNAMO. Herewith we hand to you two dynamos Nos. 665 and 1143 which are two of five noisy machines we have had from the Repair Dept. for experiment in noise reduction. The investigation of these machines revives our previous idea that the tightness or slackness of the bearings has a good deal to do with the noise. The two machines handed to you have rather slack bearings and we should be pleased if you would renew these with bearings without slack, after which we wish to test the machines again. No other alteration is required. EFC. | ||
