Telephone 400 to 405) Hayes. Midx 261 Offices of THE FAIREY AVIATION CO. LTD. HAYES, MIDDLESEX. File 19th July, 1937. Dear Robotham, Thank you very much for the work which you have carried out on my car. I am sorry not to have written before, but have just come back from my holiday and thought I might leave it until now when I should be in a position to let you know how the brakes are going on. I am sure that you would rather I said what I thought of the brakes, so that you would be in no way mislead. Frankly, I am rather disappointed as they are not nearly so good as I expected they would be, in fact, they are very little better than previously. Further, they are inconsistent in that sometimes, especially after they have been used a certain amount, you will suddenly find that there is hardly any braking there at all. So far there has been no sign of any squeaking, even in wet weather, W.A. Robotham, Esq., | ||
