25HP. BATTERY SUSPENSION - 'U' SERIES. X6055

We send herewith N. sch. 3333. shewing a modifica-
tion to the cantilever battery suspension shewn on N. sch. 3278.

It will be seen that the cantilever is supported
half way along its length by a pressing running axially with the
chassis, so assisting in preventing the twisting of the frame side
member shaking the battery.

We have shewn a pressing for the longitudinal
member. We are not sure whether there is a cheaper way of making
this, for instance, it would be possible to make it of parallel
channel. If you have any preference would you please inform us.
