Modification to the 25HP 'U' Series battery suspension.

X6055 We send herewith N. sch. 3333. shewing a modifica- tion to the cantilever battery suspension shewn on N. sch. 3278. It will be seen that the cantilever is supported half way along its length by a pressing running axially with the chassis, so assisting in preventing the twisting of the frame side member shaking the battery. We have shewn a pressing for the longitudinal member. We are not sure whether there is a cheaper way of making this, for instance, it would be possible to make it of parallel channel.
