The cost of the design scheme for the above has been given as about £2/5/- per car.
The following parts have been designed by By/TWD.{T. W. D???Aeith} with a view to reducing this figure. Will you please make the quantities stated, being enough for one Wraith and one Bentley II car, so that we can try them:-
GB.2712 - 2 pieces
GB.2721 - 4 "
GW.1628 - 2 "
It seems to us essential that the end holes in Wraith stub axles should be deleted, and that no such holes should appear on B.III; we cannot believe that it is cheaper to drill a hole and then block it up with a plug, which has to be turned, drilled and milled, than to produce the stub axle without the hole.
