STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.
COMPLETED 8.3.23.
Date 23.

Description of Parts.
LOW SPEED JET SPINDLE AND CONE.

Origin.
To prevent whistling noise and to strengthen.

Experimental Test Report.
To remove the collars above the low speed jet cone which are liable to cause a whistle. At the same time we wish to make the jet cone solid with the stainless steel spindle. We also propose modifying the angle of the cone with the object of reducing the range on the mixture control of the low speed jet.

Road Test Report.
Fitted to 4-G-11 - run 1000 miles.
Fitted to 6-G-11 - run 800 miles.
Tests prove these modifications to be an improvement.
