We are advised by the Aircraft Production Department that it has been brought to the notice of the Secretary of State, that secret information regarding improvements and new types of aircraft and aero engines, is being disseminated improperly and unofficially, and is being made the subject of discussion and public places. The Director General of Aircraft Production desires that we will impress on all employees from refraining from communicating, in any way, information of a confidential character which has come to their knowledge in the course of their daily work, and requests that we remind them of the serious penalties provided against the dissemination of confidential information.
