Dear Sirs,

Re Electrical Equipment for your Car

In regard to the question of our Fitter visiting your Works, we regret that owing to a misunderstanding he did not come earlier. We endeavoured to get you on the telephone last Saturday morning in order to explain that it would be impossible for him to come on Monday last, but we were unable to get in touch with anybody who was acquainted with the job.

We duly sent him over, however, this afternoon with 1 set of Wiring and 1 set of lamps for your inspection.

We shall be glad to know your choice on the side lamps as soon as possible in order to settle the type of plug we are to fit on the cable.

If the mud-wing type is fitted the cable will be connected direct on to the adapter, and if the wind-screen position of fixing is preferred the standard plug will be fitted on the end of the cable.

Re Junction Box. - We thank you for your enquiry of the 27th inst., for 250 of these to the sample submitted by us to your Mr. Clark. We are going fully into the question, and will forward our quotation in the course of a day or two.

We would mention, however, that this Junction Box is not in production, and it will be some 3 or 4 weeks before we shall be able to send you any.

We are unable also to send one to-day because the only one we have is our own model which we require here for the time being.

Yours faithfully,

JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED
