Attached herewith is a letter we have received from the Aerolite Piston Co.Ltd., London in which they state that it is impossible to make a piston of the Bentley type to suit our engine. We also attach herewith a blue-print they have sent us of the piston suitable for the old R-R Cars with the longer connecting rod and small size gudgeon pins. The grinding sizes are rather interesting. The spring ring shewn does not appear to us to be strong enough to control the piston. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
