X356 Re Cotton Fabric Clutches. Mr Platford 28/10/12 TBB11/L281012. With reference to your card EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}32/T231012 concerning the proposed standardisation of 3/16ths selvedge edged cotton fabric, I find there are about 50 instructed and that they will commence to come through on standard cars at chassis No. 2190. Mr Nadin informs me that the arrangement was made sometime ago for these to be fitted to standard cars, and that you would issue your report on the test of the clutches under these conditions. The cars would be despatched if satisfactory and changed if unsatisfactory. | ||
